Only What's Needed We're looking for a Motion Designer / Video Editor with 4-6 years of experience who can help turn facts into stories, and stories into content people actually want to watch.
This role sits at the intersection of design, storytelling, internet culture, and education.
What you'll do
Edit films, social content, product launches, explainers, and founder-led content
Build compelling narratives from raw footage, scripts, data, and ideas.
Create motion graphics, typography systems, and visual storytelling frameworks
Develop content that feels native to modern platforms while maintaining a strong brand identity
Work closely with designers, writers, and the content team to bring ideas to life
Shape the visual language of a brand that's being built in public
What we're looking for
4-6 years of experience in video editing and motion design
Strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of pacing, structure, and narrative
Excellent motion graphics and typography skills
A sharp eye for design, composition, and visual systems
Strong sound design sensibilities
Ability to create content that is both informative and engaging
Nice to have
Experience with shooting and camera work
Understanding of colour grading and post-production workflows
Comfortable working primarily within the Adobe ecosystem (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Strong awareness of internet culture, current events, trends, music, and platform-native content formats
Experience working with brands, creators, media companies, or startups
