Housekeeping Manager

Objective of the role:
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards, managing housekeeping staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and coordinating with other departments to deliver exceptional hospitality services.

Only Mumbai Based candidates are preferred

Role & responsibilities:
Supervise daily housekeeping operations including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back-of-house areas.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards are maintained as per hotel policies.
Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping associates and supervisors.
Prepare staff duty rosters, schedules, and work allocations.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and hotel areas to ensure quality standards.
Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen inventory, and guest amenities.
Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance departments for smooth room operations.
Handle guest complaints and special requests professionally and promptly.
Maintain records related to attendance, inventory, lost & found, and maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality standards.
Control departmental costs and minimize wastage.
Participate in recruitment, performance evaluation, and disciplinary processes of housekeeping staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
Minimum 7–12 years of housekeeping experience in hotels/resorts.
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
Knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and cleaning procedures.
