Position: Unit Manager – Micro LAP (Loan Against Property) - F2F Interview
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Unit Manager to lead the Micro LAP segment with a focus on managing loan ticket sizes ranging from 3 to 5 lakhs. The role involves driving sales, ensuring portfolio quality, and leading a team to achieve business targets, with a strong focus on maintaining regular and bucket collection efficiency.

* Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Business Development
o Develop and implement strategies to achieve business targets for the Micro LAP portfolio.
o Identify and onboard potential customers in the assigned geography through effective marketing and relationship-building activities.
2. Collections and Portfolio Management
o Monitor and ensure regular collections to maintain a healthy portfolio.
o Develop strategies to improve bucket-wise collection efficiency and reduce delinquency rates.
o Work closely with the collections team to track overdue accounts and implement corrective measures.
o Conduct periodic portfolio reviews to identify risks and take proactive actions to mitigate them.
3. Team Management
o Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Relationship Officers and Sales Managers.
o Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to targets, quality, and compliance guidelines.
o Motivate and guide the team to maintain high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
4. Credit and Risk Management
o Work closely with the credit team to ensure timely approvals and adherence to credit policies.
o Ensure proper documentation, due diligence, and compliance checks to mitigate risks.
5. Market Analysis and Strategy
o Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop competitive strategies.
o Provide insights to management for refining product features, pricing, and customer outreach programs.
6. Operations and Compliance
o Ensure all transactions and processes comply with internal and external regulations.
o Maintain accurate and timely MIS reports for management reviews.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).

·

Experience:

4-6 years in LAP or related secured lending products, with at least 2 years in a team-leading role.

Skills:

o Strong knowledge of LAP/HR products and processes.
o Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
o Proficiency in credit assessment, market analysis, and portfolio management.
o Team leadership and motivation skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Achievement of monthly/quarterly disbursement targets.

· Portfolio quality and delinquency levels.

· Regular and bucket-wise collection efficiency.

· Team productivity and retention.
