Park Ambassador – Hawaiian Waters, The Colony

Position Overview

Park Ambassadors ensure top-tier guest experiences by servicing cabanas, hosting events, and coordinating games and activities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests are provided with top-notch service, creating memorable experiences that reflect the highest standards of Hawaiian Waters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain clean, well-stocked cabanas.
  • Provide friendly service, including food and beverage delivery.
  • Host birthday parties and assist with special events, including private parties, corporate functions and park-wide events.
  • Organize and oversee decorating, games, activities, and gift distributions.
  • Engage guests and ensure a fun, safe experience.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be 16 years old*.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Must be available for varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs. and walking and standing for extended periods.
  • Must obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before starting. For those 18 or older, you must obtain a TABC Certification as well.**

* Certain duties may only be conducted by those 18 years of age or older. For those 18 or older - you must obtain a TABC Certification before starting.*

** If you do not have a Hawaiian Waters approved and current Food Handler's Permit, you will be required to obtain one ($7 through a short online class) before being permitted to work

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and climb as needed.

This position is subject to random drug testing, and a medical marijuana certification does not exempt candidates from testing policies. The job description is subject to change.
