• Perform assigned maintenance duties and routine preventive maintenance.
• Identify deficiencies and follow procedure for correcting problems.
• Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition, and notify supervisors to ensure adequate replacements are available as needed.
• Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs.
• Experience operating equipment (ie. Pressure washer, backpack blowers, chainsaws, drain cleaning machines, automatic press tool, basic handheld power tools)
• Operate maintenance equipment not limited to hand or power tools, company vehicles, or snow blowers.
• Complete work within scheduled time frame, according to budget and priority set by supervisor.
• Basic knowledge of fire life safety aspects in multifamily or CCRC.
• Physically demanding position—ladders/lifting 50lbs etc.
• Tel (or any Work order software)
• Landscape knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational or technical education preferred.
• 3+ years in multifamily or CCRC experience as maintenance tech or maintenance lead.
• Skilled in all repairs: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.
• Certification, license or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulation to operate or repair certain equipment.
• A state issued driver's license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.
