Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Sales and Marketing Associate with experience in the sewing community to join our team. This role involves leading social media marketing efforts, managing retail sales, and executing local marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong leadership skills, responsible for engaging customers, promoting our products through creative campaigns, and supporting event marketing activities.

Additionally, the role includes website editing, lead tracking, and follow-up to ensure continuous growth and customer satisfaction. Role is hourly plus commission on sewing machine products.

• Lead social media marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement across various platforms.
• Drive retail sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge, particularly in sewing machine sales.
• Develop and implement creative local marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
• Organize and promote events to showcase products and connect with the community.
• Manage customer interactions, providing exceptional service to foster loyalty.
• Edit and update website content regularly to ensure accurate product information and promotional materials.
• Track sales leads effectively, follow up promptly, and nurture relationships to convert prospects into customers.
• Demonstrate leadership within the team by motivating colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks with a proactive approach, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.

• Previous experience in sewing machine sales and related customer service roles is preferred.
• Ability to sew and create projects is also preferred.
• Proven ability to manage social media platforms creatively and effectively.
• Experience with event marketing or local outreach initiatives is advantageous.
• Familiarity with website editing tools or content management systems is a plus.
• Self-motivated individuals with strong organizational skills and a responsible attitude will excel in this role.
