Our client's team is growing and is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join their pediatric urology practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys building relationships with patients and families while delivering specialized care in a collaborative outpatient setting.

Working alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff, you will play a key role in evaluating, treating, and managing pediatric patients with hypospadias and other pediatric urologic conditions. The ideal candidate is kind, nurturing, adaptable, and passionate about providing exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for pediatric surgical patients.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, surgical procedures, recovery expectations, and long-term care.
  • Perform newborn circumcisions following appropriate training and established clinical protocols.
  • Manage the complete circumcision care continuum, including procedural care, post-operative assessments, and follow-up visits.
  • Monitor patient recovery, evaluate healing progress, and address post-procedural concerns or complications.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Participate in limited after-hours patient support as needed.
Qualifications

Required

  • Current Texas licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with infants, children, and their families.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred
  • Experience practicing in a specialty clinic.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Urology experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Minimal after-hours responsibilities; candidates should be willing to assist with patient care questions when needed.

Compensation
  • $120,000-$165,000 annually, based on experience.
