- Quarterly team events & monthly sales training
- Determine overall flooring & design needs while offering great customer experiences
- Build genuine relationships with new & existing customers
- Schedule appointments for client design consultations
- Keep up to date on the selection of products & services provided
- Measure spaces, estimate materials, present proposals, product suggestions, manage payments & oversee project quality
- Keep the install team on track by sharing clear notes + photos
- Utilize social media to create networking groups & prospect for new business
- Keep the showroom clean, organized & on trend
- 3+ years' proven work experience in Flooring Sales, Furniture Sales, Kitchen & Bath/Cabinet Sales, Home Improvement/Remodeling Sales, or similar role
- Valid driver's license & reliable form of transportation (REQUIRED)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & CRM programs
- Fundamental tech, social media & math skills
- Personal & professional judgment
- Positive, communicative & motivated to help grow the business
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Critical thinking & problem-solving abilities
- Quick to help customers get what they need
- Organizational skills & the flexibility to pivot from priority to priority
- Time management skills & detailed oriented
- Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus - willing to train
- Knowledge of RFMS a plus, but not required - willing to train
- Flooring or design experience is a plus, but not required - we're happy to train the right person
