Compensation:
Starting at $62,382.86/year plus excellent benefits including generous employer contributions to medical, dental and vision premiums, and participation in the Oregon PERS retirement system. This position also qualifies for a 5% bilingual pay differential.

A collaborative, equity-minded leader to serve as Instructor, Bilingual Early Childhood Education [Full-Time], with partial release for program coordination responsibilities. This Lead Instructor is a lifelong learner, who is responsible for creating, assessing, and continuously improving the policies, processes, and practices necessary to: facilitate equitable student learning and success; deliver excellent service; and, accomplish the work of the Instructional Services division.
This division includes the departments of Academic Pathways, Teaching and Learning Foundations, and Community and Workforce Partnerships.
This full-time faculty role reports directly to the Vice President of Instructional Services, in the Education & Social Sciences. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and be driven by a genuine desire to advance the College's Mission and Priorities. Accordingly, the Instructor will provide excellent service with a focus on closing equity gaps in educational access and attainment, and will work to promote inclusive prosperity throughout the Columbia Gorge region.
The Instructor will primarily teach and participate in college activities on campus in The Dalles and Hood River. Online and remote-synchronous instruction may also be assigned. Contract begins September 1, 2026.
