We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of High School CTE Teacher – Computers (Information and Communication Technology). This role focuses on developing students’ academic and interpersonal skills through computer applications, design, programming, and workplace use.

• Develop students’ academic and interpersonal skills through academic courses and implemented district-approved curriculum.
• Document teaching, student progress, and outcomes.
• Address specific educational needs.
• Provide a safe and optimal learning environment and feedback regarding student progress.

• Education: BA/BS or higher degree (required) with major in Curriculum, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, or a content area such as Math, Science, Language Arts, etc.
• License: Valid Oregon Teaching License and endorsements from the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission; eligibility for Career and Technical Teaching licensure.
• First Aid: Must hold a current recognized first aid card or be willing to obtain one if directed.
• Skills: Ability to motivate students, communicate across diverse backgrounds, evaluate performance, and direct support personnel.
• Knowledge: Age-appropriate teaching methods, state curriculum framework, education code, instructional subject matter.
