Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: City, State Setting:
School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)
Pay Range: Amount (Pay based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call
Hours: ~35 hours/week (based on school bell hours)
Contract Length: Number of Weeks, e.g., 42 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher

  • Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience in Specialty and insert all "Required" Certifications/Degrees

  • Insert preferred skills is preferred

  • Valid Special Education Teacher license

  • Be willing to obtain State licensure

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students in accordance with their IEP goals and learning needs.

  • Create, implement, and monitor lesson plans, accommodations, and strategies to promote student progress.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, school staff, and families to support student success.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and documentation as required by district and state guidelines.
