Job Qualifications:Provide the leadership and organization of assigned program grades 9-12. Lead in establishing an environment in which student can gain self-esteem and develop a positive self-image. Direct the promotion of a sportsmanship, a winning attitude and commitment to student academic success.
High School Robotics Coach
The Robotics Coach will guide and support high school students in designing, building, programming, and testing robots for VEX Robotics competitions. The successful candidate should have experience working with robotics students, preparing teams for competition, and supervising students visiting at VEX events. Responsibilities include organizing practices, promoting teamwork and problem-solving, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, and accompanying students to competitions.
The position may require evening and weekend commitments and travel to regional, state, national, and world competitions, including possible out-of-state travel.
Education Required:High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing
Required:
Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance; district drug screening clearance;
Vector Trainings.
Any offer of employment made by North Wasco County School District is contingent upon satisfactory results of:
- Drug screening tests for any illegal drug or substance classified in Schedules I through V under the Federal
Controlled Substances Act, 21 U.S.C. 811 to 812.
