" position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in The Dalles, Oregon

Job Title: Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: The Dalles, Oregon

Schedule: 5x8 hrs

Shift: Nights – 12-hour shifts

Pay Range: $2000 - $2074 Gross Weekly DOE

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Medical Technologist to join our team. This position requires attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and the ability to perform a wide variety of laboratory tests in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will work well both independently and as part of a team, contributing to accurate and timely patient care.

• Perform chemical, microscopic, and microbiological test assays
• Conduct laboratory testing to support diagnosis and treatment of disease
• Store and label specimens accurately
• Prepare specimens using manual and automated laboratory equipment
• Perform analytical testing procedures within scope of practice
• Ensure compliance with State licensure regulations
• Supervise phlebotomists and provide guidance as needed
• Maintain laboratory standards and quality control procedures

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working in a large hospital laboratory
• Certification: ASCP MLT or AMT
• Only Med Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
