One Community Health is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist to join our team and mission at our clinic located in The Dalles, Oregon. This position is full-time, Monday
- Friday.
The Patient Experience Specialist will include a variety of responsibilities, including coordination of safety efforts, acting as an advocate for a positive patient environment and experience, assisting with escalated patient situations, and providing support to various teams. This position will perform Welcome Team Receptionist duties in addition to supporting a positive experience for our patients. Join us in our mission to support our patients and provide access for all.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
- Previous experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder.
- Prior experience in customer service.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and workplace safety principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with EPIC EMR.

Compensation:
- Hourly/Non-exempt:
Starting at $28.50/hour, increases depending on experience. - Bilingual Differential:
Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
