Onsite Data Center Cabling Project Technicians
Location: The Dalles, OR
ScheduleMultiple Shifts
StartEnd of July 2026 - June 2027
3+ years of experience
Work Authorization Requirement: US Citizen or Green Card
Required Skills- Hardware installation, configuration, break/fix, and decommissioning
- Familiarity with data center cabling:
- Copper and fiber
- Installation and troubleshooting
- Ability to understand port maps and point-to-point connections
- General understanding of enterprise-level data center infrastructure
- Project experience, including management or deployment
- Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools, such as:
- OpenDCIM
- Nlyte
- Sunbird
- Experience with ticketing systems, such as:
- Remedy
- Remedy Force
- Service Now
- Inspect and clean fiber cables
- Label cables on both ends with Flag Labeler
- Customer to provide labeling schema
- Install pre-terminated fiber cables according to provided cabling matrix
- Utilize existing pathways and overhead ladder racks/trays
- Secure and organize cables
- Provide the following onsite:
- Fiber inspection probe
- Labeler that prints flag labels
- Fiber cleaning kits
- Inter and Intra rack fiber
- No backbone
