Are you an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) looking to grow in your role? Community Access Services is now hiring a Program Lead in The Dalles, OR — a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in the field while continuing to provide hands‑on, person‑centered support.
As a Program Lead, you’ll continue to work directly with the individuals we serve while taking on additional responsibilities that support the day‑to‑day success of the home. This role is perfect for someone who is dependable, detail‑oriented, and passionate about high‑quality care.
What You’ll Do as a Program Lead- Develop meaningful, person‑centered relationships that support independence, dignity, and personal choice
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, personal care, and household routines
- Support individuals in community participation, recreation, appointments, and working toward personal goals
- Encourage skill development, confidence, and social connections
- Follow individualized support plans (full training provided)
- Administer medications safely and keep accurate records
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
- Serve as a positive role model and advocate for the needs and preferences of those you support
- Previous experience supporting individuals with IDD
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and ability to become an approved company driver
- Ability to pass a national background check
- Compassionate communicator with patience, problem‑solving skills, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and assist individuals with mobility needs
- Dependable, respectful, and committed to person‑centered support
- Competitive Pay: $22–$23/hour (based on experience)
