The Dalles Health and Rehabilitation Center is proud to offer a FREE Nursing Assistant training program with paid wages while you attend class. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn and step into a rewarding healthcare career.

Program Details- Start Date: June 1st, 2026
- Duration: 4 weeks (online & in-person)
- Cost: $176 for testing and fingerprints –
PAID by the center if hired - CPR certification included
- Immediate employment opportunities upon successful completion and certification
- Basic patient care fundamentals
- Classroom instruction and hands‑on clinical experience
- Focus on adult and geriatric care
- Eligibility to test for State Nursing Assistant Certification
All educational and clinical training time is 100% free
, with the expectation of a minimum 6‑month employment commitment at one of our centers following certification.
- Ability to work Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) on a 4-on / 2-off rotation
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to pass a background screening
- Commitment to completing the full 4‑week program
- Ability to provide 2 references
- 18 years or older by completion of the class
