Registered Nurse – ICU

Job Summary:

Provides expert nursing care to patients in the ICU setting, ensuring safety, comfort, and recovery. Leads and supervises nursing staff while collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and analyze clinical data to determine nursing needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring optimal care delivery.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient management.
• Educate patients and their families about treatments, procedures, and recovery processes.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state.
• Demonstrate at least two years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider.
• Have proficiency with electronic health records, specifically EPIC.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
