Automotive Parts Associate

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an Automotive Parts Associate to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service to retail and commercial customers. In this role, you'll greet customers, identify parts needs, and accurately source components using catalogs and electronic systems. You'll process sales, handle cash, manage special orders, and support commercial deliveries. Daily tasks include stocking shelves, organizing inventory, maintaining store cleanliness, and following safety procedures.

You'll work with in a collaborative, service-oriented team, building strong automotive knowledge and growing toward roles in technical sales, distribution, or store management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess automotive parts and accessory needs
• Use catalogs and electronic systems to identify and locate correct parts
• Process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods following store procedures
• Assist with special orders, sourcing hard-to-find parts, and coordinating deliveries
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain accurate inventory counts
• Support commercial accounts with order preparation and loading/unloading
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store and stockroom environment
• Follow all safety, loss prevention, and operational policies
• Collaborate with team members to meet service and sales goals
