USA Government Jobs - - Responsibilities:
Serve as a fully qualified Power Plant Mechanic performing shop, plant, and outside work across a hydroelectric project;
Perform general powerhouse mechanical equipment maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions;
Carry out welding (oxygen-acetylene, shielded metal-arc, TIG, MIG), cutting, brazing, and soldering operations;
Install and repair piping systems with pipe fitters and plumbers' skills as required;
Assist with ensuring equipment operates within required tolerances and safety standards
