Front Desk Associate - Spanish Springs

This position will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of the Front Desk including the processing of guest check‑ins, member retention, and maintaining quality customer service.

• Executes procedures as outlined by front desk manual
• Answers phones, takes messages, and transfers calls
• Knows club amenities and surroundings
• Communicates kindly and sincerely using members’ names
• Attends all staff and club meetings and events
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with members and staff
• Ensures the front desk is clean, maintained, and organized at all times
• Responds quickly and appropriately to emergency situations

• Maintains a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs
• Provides input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
• Responds to common inquiries or complaints from members

• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• MUST hold current CPR certification or obtain it within 60 days of the start date
• Works well with others
• Has experience in cash handling and credit card transactions
• Demonstrates strong customer service abilities

• Can stand for long periods of time
• Can lift up to 35 pounds
• Can communicate effectively with guests and other associates, including reading, writing, and speaking
