Job DescriptionAs a Construction Engineering Manager in the Construction Administration Department at CFB, you will lead construction operations across civil engineering projects, ensuring quality control, adherence to plans, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate construction administration activities on multiple civil engineering projects from start to finish.
- Ensure compliance with engineering designs, specifications and regulatory standards.
- Lead field teams and inspectors; review reports and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Communicate regularly with contractors, design professionals, and internal project managers/directors to resolve issues and ensure timely completion.
- Participate in pre‑construction meetings to provide input on constructability and logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager overseeing civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of construction standards, land development and engineering design.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision‑making skills in managing field changes.
- Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
