Overview
At UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital, we provide leading-edge patient care, clinical training and research programs to the Central Florida community.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the director, utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis and implements and evaluates the plan of care.
QualificationsEducation:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Florida Registered Nurse License
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience
Required:
- At least 2 years of experience in a PCU or higher acuity strongly preferred.
- Leadership Skills.
- Should attend hospital training programs including:
New Manager/Supervisor orientation and Leadership Development courses. - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
