A top-tier partner hospital in The Villages, FL is now hiring a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) to join their dedicated and highly trained team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and wants to focus solely on urgent care — without the burden of wellness exams, abdominal surgeries, or overnight shifts.

Position Highlights- Urgent Care Only – no routine wellness appointments or vaccinations
- No abdominal surgeries or overnight ER
- Brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with advanced diagnostics

- Flexible scheduling options including swing and second shifts
- Excellent technical support staff and collaborative team culture
- Located in beautiful The Villages, FL
- Diagnose and treat urgent but non-critical conditions (GI issues, wounds, infections, etc.)
- Prescribe medications, perform diagnostics, and manage treatments
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about care plans and follow-up
- Maintain accurate patient records using a cloud-based EMR system
- Collaborate with medical and support teams to deliver high-quality care
- Encourage staff development via the Level Up technician training program
- DVM or VMD (or completion of ECFVG/PAVE)
- Licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in Florida
- 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates also welcome!)
- Strong diagnostic skills and confident clinical decision-making
- Compassionate, collaborative, and committed to quality care
- Passionate about urgent care and helping pets in immediate need
