In this role, you will assist with security-related concerns, interact with patients, visitors, and staff, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Fri 05:50 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 05:50 AM - 06:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or other concerning conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
