We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of
** Accountant

** Accounting Department
** group based in
** The Woodlands, TX**.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Partnering with users across the accounting organization to identify best practices, process improvements and accounting system enhancements.
* Creating assigned manual journal entries during the accounting close cycle.
* Preparing account reconciliation schedules related to assigned balance sheet accounts.
* Performing monthly cost allocation processes.
* Maintaining good working relationships with internal users and other accounting departments.
* Other duties as required
*
* Required Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
* Minimum 21 hours of accounting credit or equivalent work experience
* Excellent fundamental accounting skills; hands-on experience with general ledger reconciliations
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet short deadlines
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and interact effectively with others in a team environment
* Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with internal & external clients
* Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills
* Fluctuations in workloads may require some overtime
* Problem solving and analytical thinking as necessary to accomplish accounting objectives
