Job DescriptionAs the Corporate Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and lead the company's accounting organization, overseeing financial reporting, month-end close, tax, payroll, shared services, internal controls, and audit activities. You'll play a critical role in acquisition due diligence and post-close integration while partnering closely with executive leadership to standardize processes and build a scalable accounting function. Key Responsibilities- Lead all accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, tax, and financial reporting.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring US GAAP compliance.
- Manage the annual audit, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.
- Lead accounting support for acquisitions, including due diligence and post-close integration.
- Build and develop a high-performing accounting and shared services organization.
- Standardize accounting policies, processes, and financial controls across acquired businesses.
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and operational decision-making.
- Drive automation, process improvements, and scalable accounting infrastructure.
- Active CPA required
. - Progressive accounting leadership experience within a multi-site, complex organization.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP, audits, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Proven M&A experience, including due diligence and integration.
- Experience leading large accounting teams and developing high-performing talent.
- Background in private equity-backed, high-growth organizations preferred.
- Experience in commercial services, building services, facilities services, industrial services, construction, distribution, or other branch-based businesses is highly preferred. POC/WIP accounting experience is a strong plus.
