Our client, a leading player in the Energy industry, is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Interim Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with a deep understanding of financial analysis, fixed asset accounting, and SAP.
This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
As a Interim Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- 1. Driving the financial analysis process, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- 2. Overseeing the fixed asset accounting function, including tracking, capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
- 3. Utilizing SAP software to streamline and automate financial operations, improve data accuracy, and generate insightful financial reports.
- 4. Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws.
- 5. Collaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate regular audits and reviews.
- 6. Providing financial expertise in strategic projects and initiatives, and supporting the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- 7. Participating in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
- 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Energy industry.
- 3. Proven experience in financial analysis, fixed asset accounting, operational accounting within Midstream
- 4. Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- 5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- 6. Must have SAP.
- 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of management.
- 8. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
