Interim Senior Accountant

Salary:$40 - $55 per hour
Responsibilities:- Driving the financial analysis process, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Overseeing the fixed asset accounting function, including tracking, capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
- Utilizing SAP software to streamline and automate financial operations, improve data accuracy, and generate insightful financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors to facilitate regular audits and reviews.
- Providing financial expertise in strategic projects and initiatives, and supporting the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Participating in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Energy industry.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, fixed asset accounting, operational accounting within Midstream
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Must have SAP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of management.
- High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
