Estimator - Commercial Roofing

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team and play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive bids for a variety of commercial roofing projects. This position is responsible for managing the estimating process from initial bid invitation through final submission, ensuring precision, completeness, and alignment with project requirements.

• Manage the full lifecycle of estimates from ITB/RFP receipt through proposal submission
• Analyze architectural drawings, specifications (Division 07), and contract documents
• Perform detailed on-screen takeoffs using industry-standard software
• Develop accurate cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead
• Prepare clear, organized, and professional proposals
• Coordinate with internal teams and bid coordinator to ensure timely submissions

• Maintain and oversee the bid schedule to ensure all deadlines are met
• Conduct thorough cost analyses to identify risks and value-engineering opportunities
• Ensure all estimates and proposals meet company standards for accuracy and presentation

• 2–5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, Metal, etc.)
• Experience with takeoff software (e.g., Edge, Plan Swift, OST, or similar)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
