• Perform deep dive assessments and develop strategic insights on future opportunities and threats.
• In this role, you will identify and evaluate step-change technologies.
• Develop and maintain state‑of‑the‑art knowledge in recent developments and future trends.
• Create and maintain significant technical networks with external organizations.
• Seek and create partnerships with other companies to jointly develop novel technologies.
• Perform pre‑feasibility studies (Technical and Commercial) to select concepts for development.
• Business development experience including developing business cases and partnering concepts and obtaining buy‑in from senior leadership for novel technologies and business models.
• Prepare internal and external funding proposals.
• Develop and implement IP protection.

• PhD in Chemical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant industrial experience.
• Proven track record of innovation and successfully developing and commercializing new technologies.
• Process simulation experience with the ability to conceptualize and analyze integrated systems.
• Demonstrated experience with systems modeling and techno‑economic assessment.
• Deep Knowledge in one or more of mega trend technologies.
• Business development experience for novel concepts, technologies and business models.
• Creativity, with excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
• Independent, driven, results‑oriented disposition.
