Project:Photovoltaic Power Plant Estimated duration of the position: +24 months
In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
Responsibilities:- Lead the procurement of all materials, equipment, and services required for the photovoltaic project, including solar panels, inverters, electrical components, and construction equipment.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contract conditions with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, performance history, and ability to meet project requirements.
- Manage inventory and logistics to ensure materials are delivered on time and in line with the construction schedule.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain agreed timelines, pricing, and quality levels.
- Support the preparation, review, and administration of supplier contracts and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with the finance team to control costs, track budgets, and prevent overruns.
- Proven experience in procurement for renewable energy, construction, or heavy civil projects.
- Experience in the construction of Photovoltaic Plants of >50 MW size, working directly with the construction company.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of contract management and supply chain processes.
- Ability to work in large-scale international projects and multidisciplinary teams.
Monday to Friday, 10 hrs (1 hour break) Benefits:
