Responsibilities
- Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications, including drafting claims, specifications, and responses to office actions.
- Conduct technical analyses and evaluations related to wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, and computer networking.
- Manage patent portfolios, performing patentability assessments, prior art searches, and providing strategic guidance on patent matters.
- Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and clients to develop and execute effective patent strategies.
- Review and interpret technical documents and patent filings to support legal arguments and application processes.
- Provide technical and legal expertise on patent-related issues and intellectual property matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, legal teams, and technical professionals, both verbally and in writing.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with advancements in technology and changes in patent law.
- Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
- Demonstrated experience with patent preparation and prosecution.
- Technical expertise in wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics is required.
CertificationsRegistration with the USPTO is preferred but not required.
Skills- Expertise in patent application preparation and prosecution.
- Technical knowledge in wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
