The Regional or Site Process Safety Expert will support one or more sites with day‑to‑day Process safety program implementation and will report to the site/region operations. They will participate on the Life Science Process Safety Center of Excellence, a subset of the LS Global EHS team responsible for the business-level implementation of process safety corporate governance programs. As the Process Safety Resource, you will be responsible for implementing process safety programs at your assigned site(s) based on regulation and corporate governance direction.

Key tasks include:

• Develop compliance programs and site OPs for implementing process safety requirements.
• Maintain and track a list of process safety–related actions.
• Prepare process safety deliverables for Cap Ex projects in line with corporate program requirements, including HAZOP‑based Process Hazard Reviews and Pre‑Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs).
• Conduct or coordinate consequence modeling studies.
• Provide technical expertise in risk assessment, chemical reactivity, fire protection systems, and mechanical integrity.
• Liaise with the LS Process Safety Center of Excellence (CoE) and participate in CoE meetings.
• Contribute to LS Business Process Safety program development, including standards and tools.
• Attend and lead process safety trainings and site initiatives developed by the CoE.
• Limit travel to support other sites:
  Round Rock (near Austin), Temecula, CA, Carlsbad, CA, Lenexa, KS, The Woodlands, TX.

• 2+ years experience implementing process safety programs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or another Engineering discipline.

• Experience facilitating process hazard analyses.
• Travel between assigned sites as needed.
• Pre‑employment screening requirements met.
• Ability to wear PPE including head, eye, hand, body, and foot protection for an 8‑hour shift.
• Ability to work safely in an electrically classified area due to possible presence of flammable vapors or combustible dust.

Pay Range for this position: $75,300 – $120,700 annually. The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job‑related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance‑based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
