Cobb Fendley is seeking an experienced Senior Designer in The Woodlands or Houston, Texas Office.

EXPERIENCE + KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITY (KSA)Advanced // Solid understanding and substantial experience; works independently and efficiently. 10+ years of design experience.
- Knowledge of engineering design principles, applicable codes and standards, and established design practices used in the planning and development of projects.
- Skills in using engineering design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Station, Open Roads Designer (2D/3D modeling), ArcGIS, Microsoft Office, etc.) to develop, modify, and coordinate engineering designs, drawings, and technical deliverables.
- Ability to analyze data, apply design criteria, and use standard office and engineering software to produce accurate design documentation and support project completion.

1. Design + Analysis //- Independently execute design tasks for moderately complex projects, supporting Project Managers and Project Engineers.
- Utilize engineering and drafting software to develop, refine, and coordinate plan, profile, cross-section, and utility drawings.
- Interpret survey data, utility records, specifications, and engineering plans to develop accurate and complete design base files.
- Translate engineering concepts and direction into coordinated and constructable plan sets.
- Incorporate and manage redlines and review comments with minimal rework.
