Nexo Solutions a fast growing solutions company provides specialized engineering services and technologies to the process industry. The Chemist position at Nexo Solutions is full-time and based in The Woodlands, Texas. The Chemist will conduct laboratory testing and analysis on process and water samples, supporting contamination diagnostics and chemical analysis. Responsibilities include developing and validating analytical methods, interpreting data, preparing technical reports, and collaborating with engineers and technical staff to recommend mitigation strategies. The Chemist will contribute to research and development initiatives to enhance existing technologies and support new product or process improvements.

The role also involves maintaining laboratory instruments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and participating in client-facing technical discussions as needed.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, wet chemistry techniques, and instrument operation.
  • Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, troubleshooting, and reporting of test results.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline is a must.
  • Experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, or process industry environments is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with chromatographic, spectroscopic, and other analytical techniques commonly used in contamination analysis.
  • Ability to work safely in laboratory and plant settings, manage multiple projects, and communicate technical findings clearly in writing and presentations.
  • Only candidates in the Houston, Texas areas will be considered.
