A growing, private energy services organization is seeking an experienced Sr Corporate FP&A Analyst to join its corporate finance team. This organization provides shared services across a diversified group of companies operating in energy services, power generation, and industrial manufacturing. With operations across major U.S. energy basins and a strong focus on innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, the company is experiencing significant growth both organically and through acquisitions.
This is a strategic, high-impact role within a lean and collaborative FP&A team, supporting leadership across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Forecasting- Lead the preparation financial statement forecasting for various time horizons, in accordance with US GAAP.
- Support the development of the annual budget including the implementation and documentation of standardized budgeting process.
- Perform scenario planning
, trend analysis, and sensitivity modeling. - Prepare and present KPI dashboards and executive reporting packages.
- Variance/Margin Analysis
: perform detailed variance and margin analysis. - Create financial presentations and board materials for senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with functional leads to gather budget/forecast inputs and deliver decision-support.
- Partner with Cross Functional Teams including Treasury, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Development, and Legal on the review of sales bid and proposals.
- Prepare costing and pricing models to help guide business decisions.
- Improve and strengthen existing financial models by making them more robust, implementing automation where possible, and adding data validation to enhance accuracy.
- Create and document standardized processes for regular reforecasting, budgeting, and other recurring processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required
- 5+ years of FP&A experience in a high-growth environment OR
- 2–5 years in high-level finance (Big 4, Investment Banking, Private Equity, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling experience required
- MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (3-statement and DCF modeling)
- Strong PowerPoint and financial reporting capabilities
- ERP experience required (Oracle Fusion preferred)
- Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Experience with Oracle EPM, Hyperion, One Stream, or similar tools is a plus
