Job Summary
NPK’s Internship Program offers students the chance to gain real‑world experience by working with subject matter experts in their field and collaborating within a dynamic team aligned with company strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support and Assistance: Collaborate with other auditors within the department. Perform audit tests of business records, prepare work papers, and summarize results.
- Compliance and
Risk Management:
Assess compliance in conjunction with organization policies. - Internal Control Assessment: Understand internal controls for key processes and assist audit team members with review of controls.
- Communication: Collaborate with Internal Audit team, control owners, and stakeholders to perform testing and communicate results.
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or postgraduate program.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and collaborative skills; attentive to details.
- Display integrity, accountability, dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional in client and audit team interactions.
- Ability to navigate various technology applications, including MS Office (emphasis on Excel); aptitude to quickly learn.
This position is designed to be primarily remote. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to The Woodlands, TX corporate office and/or other business sites on an as‑needed basis during the internship. In‑person attendance requirements will be limited and communicated in advance.
