Texas Oncology is looking for an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Physician Assistant – to join our team! This position will support the The Woodlands, Texas location and will be either a level I, II, or Senior based on candidate experience. Whatdoes the Advanced Practice Provider do? (including but not limited to)
Under supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, involved in the care of individuals, families and patient groups who are dealing with cancer or other related diagnosis. This care may be in clinic or virtually, via telemedicine. Responsibilities may include duties related to prevention, screening, patient care, management, and research. May serve as direct caregiver, health care consultant, patient educator, administrator, or researcher.
Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards and requirements. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
