Ignition Developer

• Design, implement, and validate Ignition SCADA Systems and third-party data collection engines within a team.
• Configure and test communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet, and MQTT.
• Develop SQL queries and stored procedures as required.
• Communicate proactively with team members regarding project concerns or technical issues.
• Support and enhance existing Ignition SCADA systems, SQL databases, and related interfaces.
• Follow best practices for developing intelligent UDTs for Ignition systems.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning activities.
• Work collaboratively in an office environment and document all solutions and code.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in developing and deploying Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA Systems.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and management of production and backup environments.
• Proficiency in Vision and Perspective UI development, SQL database design, scripting with Python, and configuring alarms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute effectively to team projects.

• Four-year technical degree in engineering or technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Ignition Core or Gold Certification is a plus.
• Experience in industries such as Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Semiconductor Manufacturing, or Utilities.
