Overview

Lead Maintenance Planner

The Lead Maintenance Planner / Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance activities to ensure efficient execution of work, optimal resource utilization, and timely completion of deliverables. This role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior staff while collaborating across multiple levels of the organization. The position is fully onsite and operates within a structured, fast-paced environment that requires adaptability and sound decision-making.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance and related activities to support operational objectives.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various organizational levels.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, providing guidance and oversight as needed.
  • Analyze work plans, schedules, and priorities to ensure efficiency and alignment with business needs.
  • Adapt plans and schedules in response to changing priorities or operational demands.
  • Exercise strong judgment and decision-making in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Job Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer technology and related tools.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage shifting priorities.
Work Experience
  • Four to six years of experience in a related field such as maintenance or construction, with specific experience in planning and scheduling.
  • Prior experience or training in planning and scheduling activities.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior staff.

Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)
  • This is a 100% onsite role.
  • Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Local candidates are required due to onsite attendance expectations. (Commute parameters may require user review for final confirmation.)
