OverviewWe have a client seeking an intelligent, proactive, and results-driven Data Scientist to join a fast-growing team. This role focuses on transforming raw data into actionable insights, optimizing processes, and supporting business objectives using advanced analytics and machine learning. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Financial Planning, Analysis & Performance Optimization and IT, to integrate data solutions and drive measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Insights- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance and decision-making.
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world business problems, such as customer segmentation, pricing optimization, and logistics solutions.
- Implement error handling, documentation, and production-ready processes for deployed models.
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into existing systems, workflows, and analytics platforms.
- Join and process data from multiple sources, including SQL, AWS, Salesforce, Workday, and transactional or voice/logistics datasets.
- Design and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports for stakeholders using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Identify, prioritize, and develop future AI use cases across the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance analytics capabilities and inform the company’s long-term data strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in Data Science, with hands‑on experience building and deploying production-ready models.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and statistical/machine learning methods (e.g., regression, GLMs, random forests, clustering, mixed‑integer optimization).
- Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks), Spark/PySpark, and data pipeline development (e.g., AWS Glue).
- Strong data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau) and experience communicating insights to business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive measurable business impact through analytics.
- Proactive, self‑starter with strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
- Bonus:
Familiarity with Pigment or similar business planning tools.
