Job description
The Hexagon SDx Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Hexagon SDx solutions for enterprise clients. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design functional solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of SDx applications within engineering and asset lifecycle management environments.
Key responsibilities- Solution Design Implementation.
- Gather and analyze business requirements to design functional solutions using the Hexagon SDx platform. Configure SDx modules, e.g., SDx Projects, SDx Operations, to meet client needs.
- Support integration with other enterprise systems such as SAP S/4 HANA, GED, APM, Meridium, and CAD tools.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise on SDx functionalities, workflows, and best practices. Develop and maintain functional documentation, including configuration guides and process flows. Client engagement: conduct workshops and training sessions for end users and stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues during implementation and post‑go‑live support.
- Collaborate with technical teams for data migration, customization, and system integration. Liaise with the Product Owner to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Qualifications- 3–5 years of experience implementing Hexagon SDx.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, engineering workflows, and project execution processes.
- Technical skills: familiarity with SDx configuration, data models, and integration points.
- Knowledge of SQL and basic scripting for data manipulation preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Preferred:
Experience with Hexagon Smart Plant suite (SPF, SPI, SPPID) or other Hexagon tools; at least three implementations with integrations between SDx and other systems (e.g., SAP, CAD tools); at least one implementation with cloud deployment and knowledge of SDx SaaS offerings; knowledge of industry standards (ISO 15926, EPC workflows).
