- Describe the tasks and responsibilities in a crisp and clear way
- You will develop and maintain digital tools, models, and key performance indicators that enhance energy management, market visibility, and operational decision‑making
- Partner with energy managers, operations teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize opportunities, and translate business needs into practical digital solutions
- You are expected to lead the creation of analytics, forecasting, optimization, and decision support tools to improve energy planning, scheduling, and cost performance
- Build scalable data and analytics applications and dashboards integrating market, operational, and commercial data to deliver timely insights for regional teams
- You will support continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, market data sources, and analytical approaches including artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance energy management capabilities and business value plants
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related field with specialization in data science or analytics from an accredited institution or equivalent
- Familiarity with energy trading and risk management tools, including market analysis, portfolio optimization, scheduling, settlements, and risk assessment applications
- You have demonstrated experience in formulating and solving optimization, machine learning, forecasting, and statistical modeling problems such as regression, segmentation, survival analysis, principal component analysis, or neural networks
- Possess strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of databases, stored procedures and data quality or extract‑transform‑load concepts
- Skilled in data visualization and dashboard tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- You have experience working with large language models, generative artificial intelligence technologies, and deploying machine learning or AI solutions into production
- Exhibit excellent communication and data storytelling skills to clearly convey complex solutions to diverse stakeholders and leadership
- Thrive in collaborative environments and bring your unique perspective to a team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion
- You have the willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required
- Experience designing and optimizing databases, performance tuning, and building scalable business intelligence solutions
