As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will transport goods, optimise processes, and fulfil customers’ promises. By moving medicines, toys, and important machine parts, you help make moments possible for people around the world.
Project Logistics Customer Excellence SpecialistYou will coordinate complex shipments, support global supply chains, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your duties include overseeing transport operations across multiple modes, maintaining data‑quality standards, and ensuring a seamless experience for customers and internal partners.
How you create impact- Coordinate and supervise the movement of project cargo across air, sea, road, barge, and charter transport.
- Serve as the primary customer contact, providing updates and resolving operational issues.
- Maintain accurate, timely data across relevant systems.
- Prepare and review shipment documentation, including customs paperwork and transport records.
- Collaborate with internal partners on pricing, operations, revenue care, hubs, and engineering teams.
- Support accurate invoicing by managing billing activities and validating vendor invoices.
- Prepare spot quotations, assist with tender data, and contribute to commercial support activities.
- 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, project logistics, or multimodal cargo operations; air freight experience beneficial.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding of logistics documentation, customs procedures, and operational workflows.
- Experience handling complex shipments (oversized, heavy lift, breakbulk, out‑of‑gauge) is a strong advantage.
