A leading real estate investment firm is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management to oversee a diversified portfolio of commercial and residential assets. This is a senior leadership role responsible for maximizing asset performance, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering strong investment returns across the portfolio.


* This is a full-time in-office position based in the Woodlands with occasional travel*

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans for each asset to optimize cash flow, value, and return on investment.
  • Oversee third-party property managers and leasing teams to ensure operational excellence and financial performance.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ownership and investors.
  • Identify opportunities for value creation through capital improvements, repositioning strategies, or operational efficiencies.
  • Manage property-level financing, refinancing, and disposition activities in collaboration with the acquisitions and capital markets teams.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and risk factors impacting portfolio performance.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to asset management staff and coordinate closely with internal teams across development, accounting, and investor relations.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of real estate asset management experience across multiple asset classes (multifamily experience required).
  • Proven track record of maximizing portfolio performance and executing business plans.
  • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in real estate valuation, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred).
