About The Role – Seismic Sensor Sales Representative (Southern US)We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Seismic Sensor Sales Representative (Southern US) within our Digital Solutions team focused on accelerating growth in the Southern United States.
Syscom Instruments SA, based in Switzerland ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). ), part of Orica Digital Solutions, is a leading provider of vibration & seismic monitoring solutions serving civil engineering, energy, and infrastructure markets.
What you will be doingTerritory Management
- Own and execute the Syscom USA South strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets, driving growth across infrastructure, energy (Oil & Gas, Hydro), and seismic monitoring markets through a proactive, results oriented approach.
- Define and implement targeted market strategies and sales initiatives, delivering accurate forecasts and regular performance updates to the Syscom Sales Director.
- Leverage a strong industry network and market insights to identify and secure new business opportunities, expanding Syscom’s vibration portfolio with a focus on the ROCK and MR3003 product lines.
- Dedicate approximately 80% of time to new business development and revenue generation, including prospecting, pipeline development, stakeholder engagement, and closing high-value opportunities.
- Quickly develop deep technical expertise to effectively position Syscom solutions in complex customer environments.
- Actively participate in weekly meetings with Syscom to share market insights, review activities, and provide forecasts.
- Review customer requirements and, as the voice of the customer, recommend enhancements to Syscom product lines.
- Oversee pricing and contract management with support from the Syscom Sales Director.
- Consistently achieve or exceed assigned regional sales targets.
- Build and expand industry presence through active participation in conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Deliver high-impact presentations that clearly communicate Syscom’s premium value proposition.
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers.
- Track and maintain effective, professional communication with all internal and external stakeholders throughout the business development and sales cycle.
- Own the end-to-end sales experience, from lead generation through contract execution.
- Collaborate with US BDM peers to share best practices, align strategies, and maximize overall team performance.
- Support key accounts and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through post-sales engagement and coordination with internal teams.
- Consistently use CRM or other reporting tools for documenting customer correspondence and follow up activities
- 5+ years of successful experience in technical sales or business development within relevant industries
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented, organized and customer-focused
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the US market
- Strong, established network within relevant industries in the US South
- Team player

- Full-time position with base salary and performance-based incentive plan
- Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday - Travel: 50% travel extensively across the Southern US
- Reports to Syscom Sales Director (HQ in Switzerland)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, geotechnical, geological, mining, or civil/structural engineering
- Spanish and/or French could be considered a plus
