The Salesperson helps customers find products and styles that fit their needs while growing a customer following through in-store and digital selling. The role focuses on achieving sales goals, delivering excellent service, and maintaining a customer-ready department.
Responsibilities- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling tools.
- Build lasting customer relationships and provide honest feedback about style and fit.
- Develop fashion and product knowledge and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
- Fill orders, stock merchandise, re-merchandise, process markdowns, and help keep the department clean and customer ready.
- Work flexibly across departments as business needs require.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
- Interest in using networking and technology to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to work well on a team, prioritize multiple tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting merchandise up to 25 pounds occasionally.
