We are searching for a dynamic and experienced Principal Software Engineer to join our Tech Services team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to apply their expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of complex software solutions, using cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable, reliable, and robust software solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in Type Script, Next.js, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, API, retail, Full Stack, and API Development to drive the technical vision and strategy of the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
• Work closely with product owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends that could impact our systems or processes.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Type Script, Next.js, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, API, retail, Full Stack, and API Development.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust and scalable systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead a team of engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of retail industry is a plus.
• Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
• AWS certification is a plus.
