Assistant Project Manager​/Superintendent Civil Construction

TD Construction Group is a growing heavy civil contractor based in Thibodaux, LA. We self-perform nearly all aspects of subdivision and site development—sewer, drainage, water, mass earthmoving, lime treatment, rock placement, and paving. Founded five years ago, we’re expanding and seeking driven leaders to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage heavy civil, roadway, and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational and communication skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience in heavy civil, roadway, or utility construction.
• Strong leadership and advanced organizational skills; able to manage multiple, complex projects.
• Excellent communicator—able to set clear expectations with in-house crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of industry standards for drainage, water, sewer, earthwork, and concrete construction.
• Must have experience with transferring benchmarks using either a site level or rotating laser.
• Experience Trimble GPS Systems is preferred

• Manage the full project lifecycle: safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Supervise field activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and implement site safety and quality procedures.
• Participate in providing regular project performance updates.
• Ensure that materials, equipment, and resources are available when needed and that all work complies with the project plans, specifications, and local regulations.
